New Delhi: To gain political support in Karnataka, the BJP – led central government has given permission to the Karnataka government to build a new dam at Mekedatu across the Cauvery river. Knowing that there is no major support for the BJP in Tamil Nadu, the central government has given the permission to gain votes in Karnataka.
