Chennai: Due to heavy rains for the past few days, surplus Cauvery water from Karnataka has been increased and the outflow level touched 1,00,000 cusecs. The Mettur Dam level had reached 100 feet and water was released on Thursday. However, the water flow from Karnataka was reduced thereafter.
