Makkal Needhi Maiam organised Women's Day Meeting at YMCA Grounds in Royapettah, CHENNAI on March 8. Party President Kamal Haasan spoke in the meeting and answered questions from people and his critics. He announced 

Rs. 10 lakhs for the husband of Usha, who died in Thiruverumbur, Trichy District. He also said that his mabifesto will be published in 180 days.
